Gold Shield Protection HOULE’S PLUMBING, HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING 19 North Street Waterville, Maine  04901 872-6762 GOLD SHIELD HOME COMFORT  PLAN $220.00 PER YEAR SUMMARY OF COVERAGE ~  Yearly tune up and inspection of your heating system with repair or replacement of listed parts, labor included.*  A licensed technician will completely review your heating system to insure maximum efficiency. ~  24 Hour coverage is on NO HEAT service calls only.  Non-emergency service calls are covered during our standard operating hours only. ~ This plan will be automatically renewed for consecutive one-year periods unless  written notice of cancellation is given prior to August 30 of the current year.  The plan expires on July 30 of each year, regardless of the commencement date of coverage under this plan. * The unit must be accepted into this plan by a Houle's representative.  On the first cleaning visit any labor over two (2.25) hours is at an additional charge at our standard hourly rate in effect at that time.  Once accepted, as long as purchased yearly the total time for the tune up is covered.  HOULE'S RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY UNIT FROM THIS PLAN. **Any emergency is under the descretion of Houle's Plumbing & Heating GENERAL CONDITIONS This plan covers residential oil heating systems only, fired at 2.0 gallons/hour or under.  CLEANING OR SERVICING OF WOOD OR COAL UNITS AND THEIR RELATED PARTS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THIS PLAN AND WOULD BE BILLED SEPARATELY.   We reserve the right to decline an order for this plan after a full inspection of the heating system to be covered. GOLD SHIELD HOME COMFORT PLAN is offered EXCLUSIVELY to those customers who are on a keep full basis with their oil company.  Cancellation of fuel oil delivery or failure to maintain a satisfactory credit status automatically terminates the service agreement without refund. Residence must be with 8 miles of Houle's We are on call 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week to protect your indoor comfort.  So you can always depend on our fast professional service. Our service technicians are licensed by the State of Maine to work on your heating plant.  Each must pass a stringent examination to earn his license, thus assuring you of complete satisfaction. Payment under this plan is due within thirty (30) days after billing date, unless other arrangements are made with our billing department.  If payment is not received in accordance with these arrangements we may terminate this plan and any further services will be billed at our standard rates in effect at that time. NO HEAT calls are defined as a complete mechanical failure of the oil heating system causing no heat.  Any other calls received after standard operating hours** under this plan will be billed at our standard rates, no overtime, holiday, or weekend surcharge. EXCLUSIONS Complete Oil Burner Replacement Boiler/Furnace Humidifiers Heat & Water Distribution Systems (pipes, water pumps, etc.) Antifreeze Handling or Removal of Asbestos or Equipment Containing Asbestos The Distribution System (ie  ductwork, baseboard, radiators, etc..) Draft Inducers and Power Venters The plan does not cover services required due to:  switches turned off, failure to fill manually-fed boilers, blown fuses, tripped circuit breakers, setting thermostats properly, electrical failures unrelated to the heating system, oil or water valves turned off to repair damage caused by fire, flooded cellar, frozen pipes, sludge related problems associated with contaminants within your oil tank, or some abnormal cause affecting normal operation of your oil heating equipment. ALSO 24 Hour coverage for emergency water pump service, plumbing, and air conditioning** at our regular hourly rates, no overtime, Holiday, or weekend surcharges. 20% discount on major plumbing or heating appliances such as:  water pumps, toilets, kitchen sinks, bathtubs, showers, lavatories, water heaters, furnaces, and boilers.  Plus labor at a discounted rate.
